美国 AVTIVISION 公司推出的坎贝拉猎人（Cabela's）这一系列一直都很受玩家欢迎，今次又要推出一款名为《Cabela's African Safari》的新作。本次，玩家的狩猎地点将来到了美丽的非洲大草原进行狩猎。这里能提供给玩家猎杀的动物都是极有特色，比如有：非洲象群、非洲犀牛、非洲狮子等等。因为场景变成了一望无际的大草原，使得狩猎变的更加有挑战性，当然游戏中会提供更多的枪械道具来帮助玩家适应在这个特殊环境中打猎。较之前作，强化的游戏画面配以非洲大草原的风光，使《Cabela's African Safari》更显得别有一番风味。
